[Final Overall Assessment]
Chance Hotel is highly regarded for its cost-effectiveness, thanks to an outstanding location close to Taichung Station and the airport bus stop, coupled with very budget-friendly rates. While it is well-suited for practical travelers due to reliable basic amenities like cooling/heating and hot water alongside an adjacent convenience store, factors such as homeless presence and pests nearby at night, unfriendly attitudes from certain staff members, and potential extra charges for late luggage storage are key points to consider before booking.
